said a friend of mine upon reading this site:

To Whom it may concern:

I would like to speak out fervently this misguided antiport website.
While I do advocate the site's
beliefs that ports are generally
imbecilic morons, I must speak out against the delusional assertion that
starboard rowers (especially bow seat) somehow tend to, how do childish
college students tend to say it these days, uh, lack in the ass-pulling
department. It is obvious that my own personal data points were not
included in this credibility-lacking "survey". When my team of
researchers
at NISMA (National Institute for Starboard Macking Aptitude) reran the
tests with my conquests included, the regressions showed a 69% increase
in
total national starboard sexual output.

Need more evidence? Peruse these facts:
        1. Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones? Former bow seat in
Oxford
        2. Wilt Chamberlain (Mr. 20,000)? Once bow in Cal heavy four
        3. John Holmes? "Rode" 1-seat in high school

Thank you.

From The Editor of the Top 100 ranking...

A recent entry to the top100 is the Anti-Port campaign, this site seems to
have hit a nerve as it has blown away all the other sites and raced to the
top of the Top 100.  Is this a flash in the pan or are we all going to be
rowing on circular courses from now on??

Solutions...

I am one of the lucky ones. A coxswain AND a starboard rower. And a boat of
mine in the fall of 1998 found a solution. We bucket rigged the boat-
Starboard, port, port, starboard. Starboards control rating AND set:)
Furthermore, at the finish of races, I pitted ports against starboards.
Results varied. Port side must have slacked off in the middle of the race to
save a little for the end. Of course.

yet another rigging idea

there is a solution to the problem of stroke being on the wrong side!
TANDEM RIGGING!!!!
switch 3 & 4 riggers around, thus having the two dumb grunts in the
middle of the boat with no control at all, and bow and stroke are on the
same side.
Alas it can only be done with certain boats, but from experience it has
been known to go MUCH faster than having a port side stroke (when the
boat doesnt get pulled round by bow seat being more of a man than 2 & 3
combined)

Now if only someone could come up with a way to increase the
chick-pulling power of bowseat.
